This house in Surrey had a set of steps up to the front door that were functional but modest.
A far more grand entrance was designed to make a feature of the house front and be more in keeping with the large sweeping gravel driveway that leads up to the house.
The first part of the project was to excavate and remove the existing steps and surrounding area and the site cleared.
The new grand steps were built from stone, with low lighting that illuminates the steps at night and additional lighting was added either side to make a real feature of this grand set of steps.
Once the steps were complete, the gravel driveway was revamped to bring everything together and the result is an entrance that welcomes you home.
The lighting adds both security and safety at night and is a beautiful feature of the house.
